Rock County schools receive supplies from Janesville GM plant

WCLO's Beth Wheelock reports that GM and the UAW are making the donation from the Janesville plant.

Although a new use for the Janesville General Motors plant is still uncertain, the automaker and UAW are finding a new use for the plant's office supplies: donating them to local schools.

Steve Huth, curriculum coordinator for Janesville schools, says he's distributing supplies to Rock County school districts this week. GM is donating the supplies by the pallet, including pens, bulletin boards and toner cartridges.
