Parker girls win Oregon Invitational
OREGON Janesville Parker High School girls track and field team repeated as champion of the Tom Mueller Invitational at Oregon on Friday night.
“It was a nice warmup for the conference meet,” Parker coach Dave Lehmann said.
Parker’s Shelby Demos won the 100 high hurdles in 15.5 seconds, and the high jump with a leap of 5-feet, 4 inches.
The Vikings’ Niquisha Kenerson won the triple jump going 32 feet, 2½ inches and Kelsey Jones won the 200 dash in 26.3 seconds.
Parker also collected second-place finishes in the 400, 800 and 3,200 relays.
Parker will compete in the Big Eight Conference meet this Tuesday at Middleton.
