Jessi Duoss threw a three-hit shutout and scored one of Milton High’s runs in the Red Hawks’ 2-0 victory over visiting Elkhorn in WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal softball action.

The Red Hawks (16-5) play at Beloit Memorial in the regional final Thursday.

Duoss tripled and scored on a wild pitch to give Milton a 1-0 lead in the second. Singles by Morgan Janes, Taylor Davis and Shannon Wilson produced the Red Hawks’ other run in the fourth.

Duoss made those runs stand up by striking out five and allowing just one walk to go along with Milton’s solid defense.
