High school students from the greater Beloit area will be learning about local careers Wednesday.

Amy Loudenbeck, Interim President of the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce, says many students might not realize the business opportunities in the Rock County area. The career fair is aimed at freshmen through seniors, and students from South Beloit, Beloit Turner and Beloit Memorial high schools are expected to attend. Loudenbeck says events like this could help prevent a "brain drain" of young talent leaving the stateline area.
