— SHARE, a nonprofit food-buying club, will accept orders for Thanksgiving dinner packages from Wednesday, Oct. 14, through Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The package features a 12- to 14-pound turkey, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, a 10-inch pumpkin pie and a fresh produce assortment with potatoes, celery, acorn squash, apples, oranges and other seasonal produce.

Packages, which serve six, will be offered at last year's price of $25, plus a small shipping and handling fee at some locations. Pick-up will be Saturday, Nov. 21, at most SHARE locations.

SHARE also will take orders for Christmas dinner packages from Wednesday, Nov. 11, through Tuesday, Dec. 1. Packages will cost $25, plus a small shipping and handling fee in some areas.

Dinners will include a 6-pound boneless honey ham, canned pineapple, a gelatin ring mold, fixings for chocolate cake with dark sweet cherries, and a fresh produce assortment of potatoes, broccoli, carrots, apples, oranges and more. Pickup will be Saturday, Dec. 19, at most SHARE locations.

Churches, businesses and other organizations may participate in "Share the Season," the holiday meal packages program, by making cash donations, volunteering to form a distribution site or giving SHARE gift certificates so local families can enjoy a holiday meal.

Visit www.sharewi.org or call 1-800-548-21244 to shop for the package and other SHARE deals on food.

Online ordering accepts debit and credit card payments only. SHARE accepts cash, check, money order and Quest/Link/Bridge food stamp cards.
