The City of Beloit is making suggestions for better crowd control at two bars after disturbances outside the establishments.
Police Captain Vince Sciame says the city's Alcohol Beverage License Control Committee suggests the End Zone Bar and Grill and Summers Pub change their music, enforce capacity levels, and serve drinks in plastic containers. Police were recently called to a "shots fired" incident at the End Zone and someone at Summers Pub was seriously injured when hit over the head with a beer bottle.
Sciame says the owners of the establishments do not need to make progress reports to the ABLCC or police.
