Libraries in Rock county are watching the schools closely, in case they close on account of the flu.

Arrowhead Library System Spokeswoman Martha Gammons says when schools are closed, children often congregate at the library. To limit the spead of the flu to the wider community, local libraries may consider closing.

For now officials urge anyone with flu like symptons to avoid spreading the illness.
