In each case, a man entered the institution and presented a note demanding cash.

Tyler says Nehls was on probation out of the Janesville Office of the Department of Corrections. He had been staying in Janesville until he absconded from supervision. He is on probation for previous charges of robbery, burglary and other crimes.

He's being held on two counts of bank robbery and and outstanding DOC warrant.

He was taken into custody shortly before noon Friday.
