-- ANDRE SHELLY, 47, of 619 Kellogg Ave. Apt. .1, Janesville, at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Walmart parking lot, 3800 Deerfield Ave., Janesville, on charges of delivery of heroin near certain places, three counts; delivery of heroin. His arrest was the result of several months of investigating heroin distribution in the city.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- BROCK T. OLESTON, 23, of 4202 Westward Lane, Apt. A, Janesville, at 2:04 a.m. Thursday at Main Street and Pease Court, Janesville.
-- KIDNAPPING reported at 8:20 a.m. Monday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office. A Janesville man told investigators he believed his mother stole or bought an infant about two years ago in Mexico. He also believed the child had a fake birth certificate. The report was forwarded to the FBI.
-- BURGLARY reported at 9 a.m. Wednesday to a home in the 10000 block of South Summerville Road, Clinton. Reported stolen was a television and other items.
-- HIGHWAY 14 AND RUGER AVENUE, Harmony Township, at 5:20 p.m. Saturday. A car driven by Kelsey-Lane S. Dace, 17, of 1110 E. Wisconsin St., Delavan, collided in the intersection with a vehicle driven by Debra L. Ludens, 37, of 419 Autumn Drive, Delavan. Dace was ticketed for failure to yield from a stop sign. Ludens and her passengers, Jada R. Ludens, 11, of 419 Autumn Drive, Delavan; Lannie A. Ross, 11, of 2832 S. County L, Delavan; and Aliyah M. Emanuele, 10, of 527 Autumn Drive, No. 527, Delavan, were transported to Mercy Hospital, Janesville. Debra was treated and released. The conditions of her passengers were not released because they are minors.
-- FENCE/WOOD CART FIRE at 5 p.m. Wednesday at 2804 Joliet St., Janesville. Dumped fire kettle ashes burned along a fence line, burning a hole in the privacy fence, destroying a plastic cart and the wood it held plus burned some paint off house siding. The shift commander at the Janesville Fire Department estimated damage around $200.
