State Senator Judy Robson uses the last day of the legislative floor session Thursday to say her goodbyes.

After 23-years in the legislature, Robson has already announced she will not be running for reelection. During a farewell address of sorts, Robson repeatedly thanked her family, staff, and constituents for the honor of serving in what she described as her beloved 15th district.

She also remarked about the changes she's seen in the legislature since first being elected to the Assembly in 1987. She says they started with type writers and a 12-by-12 office space shared with staff. Now laptops, e-mail, and cell phones are the norm. Robson also talked with pride about her historic role as one of the few women in the State Senate, and first to be Minority and Majority leader.
