Don't expect much. Remember the bonus riots of the 1920's. Promise the vet's bonuses and gave them teargas.
Look to servicemembers health plans when you think of socialized medicine.

I doubt it vatoloco, more than likely he will be re-elected.
This statement of his is pandemic on politicians as a whole...say one thing but vote a different way.
It has been going on for years. And when you send a letter to his office with a direct question the response letter back is a pre-formatted staff letter that does not address your question at all.

All Veterans should have the same health care that the President and all other elected officals have.

How nice of the Senator to "say" that. His actions , however, speak the complete opposite.
His recent vote on the senate health care reform bill, the one that increases costs to all tricare (past and present military members) recipients is a display of his actions...increasing costs to the military members while he says on a radio show something completely different.

It's about time somebody in office takes a stand. This has been going on as long as the war has been sending injured soldiers home. I can't wait to see who is going to take on the hundreds of others things these soldiers were promised and didn't receive. However, they need action, not just another empty promise. I think they've had enough of those!
