— A Delavan man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of sexually assaulting two children in April.

Tyler J. Minarick, 20, is charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child for having contact with two children under the age of 9. He faces 120 years in prison if convicted.

The victims, whom Minarick knew, told a forensic interviewer the accused had touched them under their clothing on separate occasions, according to the criminal complaint.

Minarick denied sexual contact with the victims unless, he said, it was accidental while he was wrestling with them, according to the complaint.

Minarick is being held at the Walworth County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond. He is scheduled for a status conference July 12.

truth, you don;t know if these are boys or girls, and if some days have elapsed since the assault there may BE no physical eveidence. But the consistent word and testimony of the children IS enough to convict.
