Airfest flies high

Sunshine and spectators covered the grounds at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport for Airfest.
As expected the military jets were the stars, but spectators also loved the stunts, explosions, and rocket truck. A large number of first time audience members enjoyed this year's show, some from as far away as England.
Airfest officials expect attendance numbers to be solid.

"There was some sort of air show in Janesville or something some weekend. There was a lot of fun stuff in general, many people attended or not. There were some jets and other explosive stuff. It was good."

Yawn. I was expecting more commentary on this and some pictures. Gazettextra needs to take notice to http://host.madison.com or in other words the state journal. Of course you won't find many Rock county things in there because people can't stand our county but it is still far much better than these fluff stories with nothing to give. Soon I won't be coming back to this link just as I have stopped buying the Gazette.
