RSS

A state grant announced Tuesday may help fund the Town of Beloit's plans to improve safety for some children's walk or bike to school.

Town Administrator Bob Museus says some routes to Powers Elementary and Turner Middle and High School include busy streets without sidewalks.

He says the grant money will help build a sidewalk on at least one side of Inman Parkway Powers Elementary east to Prairie Avenue.
