— Beloit police make an arrest in Wednesday's shooting death of 18 year old Luis Angel Gonzalez.

Captain Bill Tyler says the investigation led police to a west side residence where they took a 16 year old male into custody.

The suspect is being held at the Rock County juvenile facility on a charge of first degree intentional homicide pending an initial appearance in Rock County court today. Tyler police were able to recover evidence, including a gun believed used in the murder, in a search of the house.

He says they have a theory about a motive in the incident but can't discuss that or other evidence at this time.

Where was the story on the shooting? I see Madison had articles, but why no mention from the Gazette?
