Four hits are enough for Snappers
GRAND CHUTE The Beloit Snappers made the most of four hits Thursday night.
Wang-Wei Lin drove in two runs and Beloit took advantage of three Wisconsin errors in a 6-4 Midwest League win over the Timber Rattlers.
Beloit took the lead for good with two runs in the top of the second. Derek McCallum gave the Snappers a 2-1 lead with an RBI double, and Tobias Streich added a run-scoring single.
Ryan O'Rourke (4-3) picked up the win.
The two teams wrap up the series tonight.
