Man arrested for having child porn
JANESVILLE Police arrested a Janesville man Thursday for having child pornography on a computer hard drive at his home, authorities reported.
Authorities arrested Alan H. Mursa Jr., 28, of 569 North Pearl Street, Janesville, for felony possession of child pornography, according to a news release from the Rock County Sheriff's Office. The arrest came after the sheriff's office discovered "sexually explicit" images of child pornography on a hard drive at Mursa's home.
Authorities at the time were searching the residence on a warrant carried out by detectives, special investigations officers and deputies from the sheriff's office.
Officers reportedly seized several hard drives at the residence along with a laptop computer and other computer devices.
Mursa was taken to the Rock County Jail and faces an initial hearing today in Rock County court.
