Parker wrestlers fall to Beloit
BELOIT Janesville Parker High School lost to host Beloit Memorial, 50-27, Friday in a Big Eight Conference wrestling opener.
“We just were a little flat,” Parker coach Andy Tubbs said. “Wrestling Thursday, Friday and Saturday, you don’t have a chance to correct things you want to and you make the same mistakes a second night.’’
Parker’s Matt Pakes notched a pin at 152 to improve to 6-1. Dylan Seiner notched a pin a 113 to improve to 6-1, and Sean Smith moved up to 160 pounds from 152 and earned a pin to improve to 6-1.
The Vikings wrestle today at the Edgerton Duals.
