Two women robbed at Janesville laundromat

JANESVILLE A Janesville man was arrested Tuesday on charges of armed robbery after two women were robbed by a man with a knife, police reported.
Officers were called to Excalibur Laundry, 1908 Lafayette St., at 9:45 p.m. The man displayed a knife, took the women’s purses and fled.
With the help of a police dog, officers tracked a suspect to the wooded area behind Pick ’N Save grocery, where he was taken into custody. Purses and a steak knife were recovered.
Arrested on two counts of armed robbery was James M. Ahline, 47, of 357 W. Racine St. upper, Janesville.
