Salcedo, Beloit Snappers ground Silver Hawks
BELOIT — Adrian Salcedo continues to shine for the Beloit Snappers.
The righthander pitched seven solid innings Thursday night to lead Beloit to a 6-3 win over the South Bend Silver Hawks in Midwest League baseball at Pohlman Field.
Beloit jumped out to a 5-0 lead in a four-run fourth inning and never looked back.
Jhonatan Arias had two hits and two RBIs for Beloit.
The two teams wrap up the three-game series tonight at Pohlman Field.
