Janesville Parker camps taking registrations
JANESVILLE — Registrations are being accepted for coach Joe Dye’s 18th annual Janesville Pride Football Camps at Parker High School.
The youth camp dates are July 19-21, with sessions from 9-11 a.m. each day. Those entering grades 4-8 are eligible, and the cost is $50.
The camp, directed by Dye, will combine instruction, station drills, games, individual competition and contests, with emphasis on fundamentals.
Dye and his staff also will conduct a camp for students entering grades 9-12. The dates are July 18-21, with sessions from 5:30-8 p.m. each day. Participants also may sign up between 5-5:30 p.m. on July 18.
The cost is $60, with a $40 fee for a second or third camper from the same family.
That camp also will concentrate on skills, with no scrimmage involved.
Application forms, with a check payable to Janesville Football, Inc., should be mailed to Janesville Pride Camp, 138 Waveland Rd., Janesville, WI 53548. The forms are available at vikeswtst.com.
