Madison Memorial swept visiting Janesville Parker in Big Eight Conference boys tennis action.

Matt Knutson lost in three sets to Memorial’s Michael Schnarr in a close match at No. 1 singles.

“That went back and forth,” said Parker coach Mike Fuhrmann. “There were too many unforced errors in the third set.

“Memorial is a very solid team,” Fuhrmann said. “They are among the top three in the league.”

The Vikings compete in the Milton Triangular on Saturday against the Red Hawks and Jefferson.
