Decker takes early lead in senior bowling tournament

— Roger Decker rolled a 614 series on Saturday to take the early lead in the 29th annual South Central Wisconsin USBC Senior Singles bowling tournament at Blackbridge Bowl.

Dave Bruni marked a 239 high game for the men. Pollie McCarthy rolled a 590 with games of 200, 203, 187 for the women’s high series. Deena Smith posted a 585, marking games of 202, 183, 200.

The tournament is open to any sanctioned bowler at least 55 years-old living in the South Central Wisconsin area. The tournament is divided into six divisions, three for men and three for women.

The tournament continues Saturday with two shifts. Entries will be accepted until noon.
