Former Edgerton man killed in Phoenix
PHOENIX EDGERTON—Services will be held Tuesday for a former Edgerton resident who was shot to death in Phoenix.
Andrew Ellifson, 33, was shot just before 8 a.m. Monday while at an unidentified person’s home, according to a news release from the Phoenix Police Department.
When police arrived at the home, a 39-year-old suspect told police that there was a man in the house with a gunshot injury.
The suspect told police that he and Ellifson had an altercation. The suspect, who sustained minor injuries, told police that he was forced to defend himself, according to the news release.
The investigation is ongoing, the news release said.
Services for Ellifson will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Central Lutheran Church, Edgerton.
