Mercy clinic will take patients in January
A short timeline isn't keeping Mercy Health System from getting a clinic and emergency room opened on time. Mercy officials expect the new facility on Deerfield Drive in Janesville to start taking patients the first week of January. Kyle Geissler reports.
JANESVILLE The new Mercy clinic and emergency room on Deerfield Drive in Janesville will take patients in early January.
Work started in September and Mercy Vice President for Community Relations Rich Gruber says there's a lot of organization that goes into building a clinic in a short amount of time.
Mercy originally planned on taking patients at the new clinic before the end of the year. Gruber says as of last week, the building was 75 percent enclosed.
Gruber says the new clinic will create much needed space for patients.
