WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on plans for Wednesday job fair in Janesville

RSS

A big turnout is expected for a job fair in Janesville Wednesday.

Southwestern Wisconsin Workforce Development Board Business and Employment Services Manager Eric Kuznacic expects 38 employers and 1000 job seekers for the event from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rock County Job Center.

Kuznacic says more employers seem to be hiring this year compared to last. He also says a job fair can be beneficial to both employers and job seekers. He says the long term unemployed have a chance to actually talk to an employer, while the company can get a more genuine feel about job applicants.
