Jonn Martinez scored three goals and had an assist to lead UW-Rock County to a 7-1 victory at UW-Waukesha in a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference soccer match Thursday night.

The Rattlers are 4-1-1 in the WCC and 6-1-1 overall.

Rattlers coach Grant McNall said Martinez's first goal came on a bicycle kick.

"It was one of the prettiest goals you'll ever see," McNall said. "It set the tone for the night."

Grant Jahns added two goals and an assist, while Isaac Mendoza had two goals and an assist.

"It really was a team effort," McNall said.

The match was played in rain and wind and the field was slippery.

The Rattlers complete their WCC regular season with a game at Wausau against UW-Marathon County on Saturday. On Monday, Oct. 10, the Rattlers play a home game against Silver Lake College in a 4 p.m. benefit match for the Rock County Cancer Coalition.
