Janesville Parker golfers defeats Elkhorn
JANESVILLE Janesville Parker’s boys golf team cruised to a nonconference victory over Elkhorn on Thursday at Riverside Golf Course.
The Vikings, behind Dustin Richards’ 3-over-par 39, finished with a team total of 171. Elkhorn had a 197 total.
“It was another step for us in the process of getting better,” Parker coach John Zimmerman said. “That means improving mentally, emotionally and physically.”
Taylor Braun added a 40 for Parker, while Alex Hall’s 42 paced Elkhorn.
Parker hosts Beloit Memorial and Sun Prairie in a Big Eight Conference triangular Monday at the Janesville Country Club.
