- STEVEN B. WENCEL, 61, of 6570 N. Oakridge Road, Evansville, at 8:28 p.m. Aug. 1 on Highway 14 east of Tuttle Road in the town of Porter.

- ATTEMPTED BURGLARY to an office building at 2600 N. Pontiac Drive, Janesville, reported Thursday. Window screens were cut at the TRICOR Insurance building, which belongs to Fritz LLC. Damaged estimated at $1,000.
- THEFT of a diamond ring valued at $4,900 and a GPS unit from a vehicle in the 700 block of Happy Hollow Road, Janesville, reported Aug. 2.
Charged
- CRYSTAL M. BAUMANN, 29, of 719 Kellogg Ave., No. 1, Janesville, with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. She was arrested Aug. 6 in Janesville after a traffic stop.
