Parker golfers third in tourney
MILTON The Parker High girls golf team shot 253 and finished third Thursday in the 16-team Milton Best Ball Tournament at Oak Ridge.
The host Red Hawks posted a 237 to win the event. Craig High had a 304 team score and finished 10th.
"We had a strong showing," said Parker golf coach Mary Ross. "We've improved (in this tournament) over the years. We've had some good scores this week.''
Sisters Micayla and Kendyl Richards combined for an 83 to lead Parker.
