Craig, Parker tennis blanked

— Craig High couldn't get it going against visiting Verona and was blanked, 7-0, Tuesday in Big Eight Conference girls tennis.

"They kinda beat us up a little bit," Craig coach Bill Peyer said.

The Cougars play Thursday at Sun Prairie.

Parker falls

Parker didn't win a set en route to a 7-0 loss at Middleton on Tuesday in a Big Eight match.

"They just flat-out beat us today," Parker coach Justin Long said.

The Vikings return to action Thursday at home against Beloit Memorial.
