Police say an Evansville woman took her child with her when she broke into a neighbor's apartment and took a purse and medication.
Tamara L. Miller, 33, of 313 Higgins Drive, Apt. 11, Evansville, is charged with burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a child. Her adjourned initial appearance is scheduled this afternoon in Rock County Court.
Miller on Jan. 21 walked into a neighbor's apartment and started taking items, the neighbor told police.
The neighbor screamed at Miller and the 6-year-old child, and the two left the apartment and went into the basement, according to the criminal complaint.
