Marquette rolls past Janesville Bluebirds
MILWAUKEE Milwaukee Marquette erupted for four second-period goals on its way to a 5-1 victory over the Janesville Bluebirds in nonconference boys high school hockey Saturday night.
Two of Marquette’s second-period goals came on the power play.
Janesville (9-6) scored its only goal in the third period when Bradan Perkins converted unassisted at the 10:27 mark.
Michael Macdougall had 27 saves, and Tyler Lewis added 14 saves for the Bluebirds.
Janesville returns to the ice at 3 p.m. Saturday for a home game against McFarland.
