Fury lose to Middleton
MIDDLETON The Rock County Fury co-op high school girls hockey team lost to visiting Middleton, 5-0, Saturday.
Cardinals’ goalkeeper Kaitlyn O’Rourke made 12 saves en route to notching the shutout. Fury goaltender Kaite Roe made 12 saves.
“I thought our girls did well,” said Fury coach Darrel Moore. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t get enough quality chances to keep the game close.’’

Bluebirds win
The Janesville Bluebirds boys co-op hockey team defeated McFarland, 2-1, on Saturday at Janesville Ice Arena.
Janesville (10-6) struck twice after falling behind 1-0.
Tanner Woodman scored at 6:32 of the first period, and D.J. Mussey converted the game-winner at 11:34 of the opening period. Keaton Eichman and Woodman had assists.
Michael McDougall recorded 18 saves for the Bluebirds.
Janesville plays Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Madison West.

i'm a herrling, they're a herrling, we're a herrling too, how many herrlings does it take to screw in a lightbulb???.....but seriously, i knew about us in upstate ny and pa, but in wisconsin???? who are you, and how did you get there?? inquiring herrlings would like to know.
