— Will the 2012 Men’s City Golf Tournament be a two-man race between Matt Behm and Sam Van Galder, or will a darkhorse candidate emerge?

That question will be answered this weekend as the 63rd annual tournament tees off with Friday’s opening round at Riverside Golf Course. The 54-hole tournament moves to Glen Erin Golf Club on Saturday before concluding with Sunday’s final 18 holes at the Janesville Country Club.

Behm and Van Galder have dominated the tournament the last decade. Behm has won titles in four of the last nine years, including last year’s 3-stroke win over Van Galder.

Van Galder will be shooting for his third title in the last six years.

Seven-time champion Chris Pastore is not entered this year, leaving 2002 champion Ryan Coffey as the only other former City champion in the field.
