Whitewater city manager is finalist for Fond du Lac post

— Whitewater City Manager Kevin M. Brunner is one of five finalists for a similar position in Fond du Lac.

Brunner has 32 years of experience in local government management including the past eight as Whitewater city manager. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carthage College in Kenosha and a master's degree in public administration from Michigan State.

Brunner has previously served as assistant to the mayor of Appleton and assistant to the Kenosha County administrator. The Wisconsin City Manager Association named him city administrator of the year in 2007.

Fond du Lac City Manager Tom Herre is retiring in June. Fond du Lac City Council President Rick Gudex said the council plans to interview the five candidates, Friday, May 11.
