Beloit’s Shibuya pitches three-hit shutout
BELOIT Tim Shibuya was dialed in Tuesday night.
The righty fired a complete-game three-hitter to lead the Beloit Snappers to a 1-0 Midwest League win over the Clinton LumberKings at Pohlman Field.
Beloit got its only run in the eighth on JaDamion Williams’ RBI single.
Shibuya (2-1) struck out seven and did not walk a batter.
Beloit hosts Quad Cities in a three-game series beginning tonight.
