Group offering how-to clinic for female builders

DELAVAN — Lowe's, underwriter of Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program, will host a free how-to clinic from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at its Delavan store, 2015 E. Geneva St.

The Women Build program recruits, educates and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent and affordable housing in their communities. The clinic is open to women interested in volunteering at any local Women Build site. Volunteers will learn home construction basics and tool safety tips.

For more information or to register, call (608) 754-1228. Registered volunteers should wear comfortable clothing the day of the event. All supplies will be provided on-site.
