Intoxicated driving arrests

-- VANESSA F. WITTNEBEL, 23, 222 N. Franklin St., No. 209, Janesville, at 1:31 a.m. Saturday on Highway 11 west of South Footville Road in the town of Plymouth. Wettnebel also was arrested for operating after suspension and speeding.

-- DONALD M. DAER, 47, 4620 East County A, Janesville, at 5:42 a.m. Monday at home. The arrest was listed as his second on an intoxicated driving charge.

-- CASEY L. MUELLER, 28, of 32 S. Pontiac Drive, Janesville, at 8:20 p.m. Oct. 25 at Highway 11 and Read Road in the town of La Prairie. He also was ticketed for operating after suspension.

-- PAMELA L. CLARK, 53, of 1511 Blaine Ave., Janesville, at 2:07 a.m. Saturday at Court Street and Garfield Avenue, Janesville.

Accidents

-- 3900 DEERFIELD DRIVE, Janesville, at 1:58 p.m. Tuesday. David J. Hackett, 42, of 743 Cambridge Drive, Janesville, was driving north on Deerfield Drive when he suddenly swerved, drove onto the terrace and crashed into a light pole in the Sam's Club parking lot. He told an officer he did not know what happened. Hackett was admitted to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, but his condition was not available. No citations were issued.

-- MILWAUKEE AND JACKSON STREETS, Janesville, at 12:12 p.m. Oct. 24. Richard E. Barth, 69, Milwaukee, was driving west on Milwaukee Street. Julie A. Coulter, 47, of 419 Willow Springs Court, Janesville, was driving north on Jackson Street. Their trucks collided in the intersection. Both drivers said they had a green light. Coulter was treated and released from St. Mary's Janesville Hospital. No citations were issued.

-- BURGLARY reported at 3:42 p.m. Oct. 24 in the 8000 block of East Stateline Road in the town of Clinton. A front door was forcibly entered some time Tuesday. A firearm, ammunition, a television and change with a total value of $640 were stolen.

-- BURGLARY reported at 8:33 p.m. Oct. 25 in the 1200 block of South Read Road in the town of LaPrairie. Earlier that day, a front door was forcibly opened. Computers, a GPS unit and jewelry with a combined value of more than $7,000 were stolen.

-- BURGLARY reported at 1:36 p.m. Oct. 24 in the 4000 block of East County S in the town of Turtle. Earlier that day, entry was forced and a paintball gun, a bag, a safe and costume jewelry with a combined value of $755 were stolen.

-- MAN WITH A BB RIFLE who tried to elude police after they received reports of a man armed with a rifle around 6 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Avenue and Terrace Street, Janesville. The man fled police, sometimes through yards, and was eventually captured at Court Street and Crosby Avenue, after police dog Karo bit him on the arm or hand, an injury that required one stitch, police said. The man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct while armed and resisting an officer.
