Arrests

-- RICHARD D. SCHROEDER, 45, of 3616 W. Hilltop, Janesville, at 1:30 p.m. Monday at 51 S. Main St., Janesville, on a charge of felony bail jumping.

-- MARC W. SOLTYS, 40, Howell, Mich., at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Jail of a felony warrant for theft stemming from incidents between September 2010 and June 2011.

-- RAYLEICO D. CARTER, 32, Rockford, at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in Dixon, Ill., on warrants for burglary and attempted theft stemming from an incident in August 2009.

-- CHARLES G. GRAY, 49, 4242 N. Pearl St., Janesville, at 11:58 p.m. Nov. 20 at the intersection of highways 51 and 14 on a warrant for felony escape stemming from an incident in August.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- RYAN C. CLEMENTS, 31, of 1907 W. Seventh Ave., Brodhead, at 2:24 p.m. Saturday at Highway 11 and Westward Lane in the town of Rock. Clements was arrested after losing control of his vehicle and driving into a cornfield. A fire started in his car and on the grassy embankment when he tried to drive back onto the highway. Clements also was ticketed for having open intoxicants in the vehicle, failure to wear a seat belt, operating without insurance, failure to have control and violating a traffic signal. Clements was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

-- BRUCE K. AUSTIN, 51, Durand, Ill., at 9:25 a.m. Friday on Townline Road a half-mile east of County D in the town of Rock. The arrest was listed as Austin's third on an intoxicated driving charge. He also was ticketed for operating while revoked, operating without carrying a license, operating left of center, failure to keep vehicle under control and failure to wear a seat belt.

-- BURGLARY reported at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at 11000 block of West Cleophas Road in the town of Newark. Reported stolen was a Yamaha dirt bike valued at $1,300.

-- THEFT at 9:05 a.m. Nov. 19 from the parking lot of Gordie Boucher, 2727 E. Highway 14, Janesville. Reported stolen was a 2012 Mazda CX 9 valued at $34,721.

-- BURGLARY at noon Tuesday in the 600 block of North Grant Avenue, Janesville. A GPS unit was discovered missing after it was found in the pocket of a 15-year-old Janesville boy accused of stealing $3 from a teacher.

-- BURGLARY reported at 5:02 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 400 block of North High Street, Janesville. Reported stolen were a videogame system, games, a flat-screen television and a laptop.

-- DISORDERLY CONDUCT at 1:11 p.m. at Wilson Elementary School, 465 Rockport Road, Janesville. An 11-year-old male student attempted to stab a school administrator with a pen or pencil.

-- BURGLARY reported at 2 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of N. Pearl St., Janesville. Reported stolen was a welder, valued at $500, from the garage.

-- THEFT reported at 9:45 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 6000 block of County G in the town of Rock. Credit and gift cards were reported stolen from a wallet.

-- THEFT reported at 2:39 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 4800 block of East Case Drive in the town of Harmony. Two hydraulic lift cylinders, valued at $1,000 each, and two tire rims were reported stolen.

-- BURGLARY reported at 6:31 p.m. Friday to a home in the 60 block of South Pontiac Drive, Janesville. Reported stolen were a desktop computer, video games, two gaming systems, athletic shoes, three digital cameras and headphones. The total value of the items was valued at $1,900. The home was not locked at the time of the burglary, which was reported as taking place between 9:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

-- BURGLARY reported at 8:21 a.m. Nov. 20 to a home in the 3700 block of West Plymouth Church Road in the town of Rock. Reported stolen was loose change valued at $700.

-- CRIMINAL DAMAGE reported at 7:02 p.m. Nov. 21 to a home in the 10000 block of South Northrup Road in the town of Clinton. A furnace was reported damaged with water. The cost of the damage was estimated at $2,500.

Charged

-- CHRISTOPHER J. WIZNER, 41, Watertown, with operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent and theft. He is accused of taking a minivan on Nov. 8 from Gordie Boucher, 2727 Humes Road, Janesville. Wizner told police he had permission to drive the van.

Rock County

Accidents

-- HIGHWAY 140 AND CREEK ROAD in the town of Bradford at 8:56 a.m. Sunday. Randal L. Gilbertson, 50, of 722 Faryl Ave., No. 6, Delavan, was driving south on Highway 140 when he swerved to miss a deer. His pickup truck left the roadway and struck a guardrail over Creek Road. He was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

-- WASHINGTON STREET AND GREENVIEW AVENUE, Janesville, at 5:52 p.m. Thursday. A car driven by Darlene McCollum, 85, of 2433 Riverside Drive, Janesville was southbound on Washington Street when she struck Larry Lemere, 54, of 2025 West Wall Street, Janesville. Lemere had stepped off the median. Lemere was reported transported for medical attention.

-- HIGHWAY 14 AT RUGER AVENUE in the town of Harmony at 6:53 p.m. Thursday. A car driven by Matthew C. Atkinson, 17, 226 Valley Drive, Janesville, left the stop sign at Ruger and pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Kurt A. Verhoeven, 51, 56 W. Sedgemeadow St., Elkhorn. Two passengers in the Verhoeven vehicle, Karen A. Verhoeven, 47, and Kelli E. Verhoeven, both of the same address, were transported to St. Mary's Janesville Hospital where they were treated and released. Atkinson was ticked for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign.

Charged

-- QURAN T. JOHNSON, 20, of 1211 King St., No. 7, Janesville, with party to armed robbery, party to substantial battery and party to misdemeanor battery, all as repeat offenses. Johnson is accused of punching, kicking and stomping a man and stealing cash and a phone from him on Oct. 29 in Janesville.

-- NICHOLAS W. ACKERMAN, 19, of 421 Eisenhower Ave., Janesville, with misdemeanor theft and felony bail jumping. He is accused of taking groceries valued at $135 from a Janesville store on Nov. 15.

-- ELISEO SALVADOR NARANJO, 35, of 449 Parker Drive, Janesville, with three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card as a repeater. He is accused of using someone else's bank card at Jaesville businesses on Oct. 29.

-- DUSTIN T. WHITE, 29, of 225 Milton Ave., Apt. 2B, Janesville, with two counts of false imprisonment, disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping. He is accused of preventing a woman from leaving the apartment during an argument Sunday in Janesville.

-- MARK E. NOBLE, 42, of 507 W. Beloit St., Orfordville, with fourth-offense intoxicated driving. He is accused of riding a motorcycle while intoxicated in August 2011 in Orfordville.
