Arrests

-- OMAR SOLIS ALVAREZ, 31, of 512 Harding St., Janesville, at 9:02 a.m. Monday at home on a charge of child neglect. A neighbor reported that a 2-year-old child was left home alone. Witnesses said the child walked barefoot to a stranger's home on Glen Street.

-- JARAMIE A. WHIPP, 34, of 1734 Grant St., Beloit, at 5:41 a.m. Monday at the Rock County Jail on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an intoxicated driving charge.

-- A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 12:20 p.m. Monday at home on charges of resisting and escape.

-- REBECCA P. TORRES PEREIRA, 31, of 6909 N. County M, No. 27, Evansville, at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday on a fugitive complaint out of Louisiana.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- SUMMER L. ENYEART, 25 of 6219 S. Highway 51, No. 65, at 3:53 a.m. Sunday at Centerway and Parker Drive. It was listed as her second arrest on drunken-driving charges.

-- STEVEN P. ADAMS, 25, of 21 Jackson St., Evansville, at 9:12 p.m. Oct. 5 on Highway 59 west of George Road in the town of Union. The arrest was listed as Adams' second on an intoxicated driving charge. He also was arrested on charges of operating after revocation, tampering with an ignition-interlock device, speeding and having open intoxicants in the vehicle.

-- PAULA J. TRUDEAU, 44, of 2237 S. Grant Ave., Janesville, at 3:05 a.m. Sunday at Highway 14 and Polzin Road in the town of Janesville. The arrest was listed as Trudeau's third on an intoxicated driving charge.

-- THOMAS J. FARLEY, 25, of 3604 Lucey St., Janesville, at 7:25 a.m. Saturday on Highway 140 north of Avalon Road in the town of Bradford. The arrest was listed as Farley's second on an intoxicated driving charge. He also was ticketed for operating after suspension.

-- ZACHARY T. BLYTHE, 22, of 285 W. St. Lawrence Ave., Beloit, at 7:35 p.m. Saturday on Townline Road east of Highway 51 in the town of Rock. Blythe also was arrested on charges of open intoxicants, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

-- STOLEN TRUCK reported at 10:35 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East Memorial Drive in Janesville. Reported stolen was a blue 1990 Dodge Ram and a number of tools.

-- BURGLARY reported at 3 p.m. Monday to a home in the 500 block of Milton Avenue in Janesville. Reported damaged were knick-knacks and a fan. A portable DVD player was reported stolen.

-- ENDANGERING SAFETY WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON reported at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport, 4500 S. Highway 51, Janesville. The previous day, the radar for the northwest airstrip went down. On Thursday, technical operations workers discovered three bullet holes in the radar array on the northwest side of the airport adjacent to the airstrip. One bullet had traveled through a junction box and severed a cord. Damage was estimated at $500.

Fire calls

-- GRAIN BIN FIRE at 12 p.m. Thursday at 8903 N. Newville Road, Edgerton. The property owner saw smoke and found a small amount of burning corn, which he removed from the bin. Later, he saw flames again and called 911. Damage is estimated at $45,000 for the corn and $40,000 for the bin.

Accidents

-- HIGHWAY 14 WEST OF COUNTY F, TOWN OF JANESVILLE, at 7:51 a.m. Friday. A vehicle driven by Caleb T. Stowers, 18, of 2525 Galahad Way, Janesville, was westbound when he said he looked in his side mirror and didn't see that traffic in front of him had stopped to allow a vehicle to turn. He struck the back end of a vehicle driven by Mitchell W. Pelsue, 59, of 4340 N. Rivers Edge Drive, Janesville, whose vehicle was pushed 28 feet and struck the back end of a vehicle driven by Rhea M. Jeske, 35, of 414 S. Parker Drive, Janesville. Stowers was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. He was cited for following too closely.

-- WASHINGTON STREET AND GARTLAND AVENUE in Janesville at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday. Robert F. Hallmark, 79, of 4264 Bordeaux Drive, Janesville, was driving south in the 1200 block of Washington Street when his vehicle veered to the right side of the road and struck a light pole. Hallmark was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. He was ticketed for inattentive driving.

-- COUNTY A AND TOUSON DRIVE, in the town of Harmony at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 7. Jose A. Brabadan Zamora, 27, of 4927 County A, Janesville, was driving east on County A. BJ Dillon Kraus, 55, of 1002 S. Tarrant Road, Janesville, was driving west. Brabadan tried to turn left into a driveway at 4927 E. County A and turned into the path of Dillon Kraus' car. Both drivers were treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Rabadan was ticketed for operating without insurance, failure to yield while making a left turn resulting in injury and operating without a valid license causing injury.

-- 6192 N. RIVERFIELD DRIVE, Janesville, at 5:33 p.m. Oct. 5. Jill S. Stange, 56, failed to put her vehicle in park in her driveway. The vehicle rolled and pinned Stage against the garage door. She was treated and released from to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

Charged

-- TEAGE TONY MARKO, 29, of 3107 Palmer Drive, No. 14, Janesville, with two counts of forgery. He is accused of cashing two checks for a total of $2,000 in May at a Janesville credit union. The checks belonged to Janesville Brick and Tile, 1801 W. Court St., Janesville, and were marked as paychecks, but Marko has never worked there.
