Arrests

-- CURTIS C. CLEMENS, 41, of Stewart, Fla., at 12:11 a.m. Monday at Microtel Inn, 3121 Wellington Place, Janesville, on a charge of substantial battery with intent to cause bodily harm, after another Florida man who was sharing a motel room with Clemens said Clemens assaulted him. The man needed several stitches, according to the police report.

-- DANIEL T. FISCHER, 20, of 2904 Mohican Road, Janesville, and BRANDON C. PALUCH, 21, of 747 Kellogg Ave., No. 8, Janesville, at 2:28 a.m. Oct. 16 at Bell Street and Humes Road in Janesville. Fisher was arrested on a charge of felony possession of narcotics. Paluch was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver and felony possession of narcotics. An officer reported finding a number of prescription pills in a baggie in Paluch's vehicle. Fischer was a passenger in the vehicle.

-- STEVEN J. VINGUM, 46, of 15019 W. Ahara Road, No. 9, Evansville, at 4:45 p.m. Monday at the Dane County Jail, Madison, on warrants accusing him of failing to appear in Rock County Court on charges of burglary, theft, forgery, obstructing, trespassing, possession of marijuana and bail jumping. He is accused of burglarizing on Jan. 26 a home on Franklin Street in Evansville.

-- KE'VAN GREEN, 17, of Stoughton at 4:30 p.m. Monday, at 1900 Rockport Road, No. 3, Janesville, on charges of possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct while armed. He also was in possession of a stolen vehicle and held on a probation hold.

-- VICKI L. CAMPBELL, 52, of 3912 N. Hackbarth Road, No. 23, at 11:08 p.m. Tuesday at home on charges of felony bail jumping, battery and disorderly conduct.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- TIMOTHY S. SMITH, 30, 1804 Green Valley Drive, Janesville, at 6:01 p.m. Saturday at home. The arrest was listed as his third. He also was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating after revocation.

-- SUZANNE M. CARLSON, 66, 4306 Bordeaux, Janesville, at 12:55 a.m. Saturday on Beloit Avenue at State Street in Janesville.

-- MICHAEL J. PIERCE, 24, Nashville, Tenn., at 2:50 p.m. Thursday after a single-vehicle accident on Kidder Road north of County M in the town of Fulton.

-- JENNIFER M. TOWNSEND, 24, of 1317 Menard St., Janesville, at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday at 1917 Clover Lane, Janesville.

Reported

-- BURGLARY reported at 4:11 p.m. Saturday at in the 300 block of North High Street, Janesville. Reported stolen were a flat-screen television, compact discs, a coat and shoes. A door was reported damaged.

-- BURGLARY to a home on County J, town of La Prairie, reported at 12:16 p.m. Oct. 9. The residence was reported to have been gutted.

-- STRANGULATION, FALSE IMPRISONMENT AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT reported at 9:22 p.m. Tuesday. An 18-year-old Janesville woman reported the domestic problems that occurred in a vehicle with her child's father.

Accidents

-- COUNTY A EAST OF COUNTY H, town of Janesville, at 10:20 a.m. Thursday. A motorcycle driven by Kyle S. Gilstrap, 22, 346 Century Lane, Footville, turned from County H onto County A and then entered the ditch. Gilstrap was thrown from the motorcycle and transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, where he was treated and released. He was cited for speeding.

-- CENTER AVENUE AND JOHNSON STREET in Janesville at 12:03 p.m. Oct. 15. Brandi L. Dabson, 26, of 408 Center Ave., No. 1, Janesville, was turning left onto Center Avenue from a driveway. Her car was struck by a southbound pickup truck driven by Riley P. Schloemer II, 71, of 4482 Old Kennedy Road, Milton. Dabson's car was pushed into the northbound lane where it was struck by a pickup truck driven by Roger L. Ripp, 62, of 115 S. Palm St., Janesville. Dabson was ticketed for failure to yield. Schloemer was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

Charged

-- JEFFERY L. HARDNETT, 45, of 3111 Mount Zion Ave., Janesville, with battery, disorderly conduct and felony child abuse. He is accused of knocking a woman to the ground, chasing and threatening a child and hitting the child in the head with a thrown rock Oct. 11 in Beloit.

-- SHAUNTAE N. BYAS, 33, Madison, with substantial battery and disorderly conduct after an October 14 disturbance involving between 30 and 40 people at Gene O's Wild Ride Saloon, 7530 N. County M, Evansville.
