Footville man faces nine criminal charges
JANESVILLE A Footville man faces nine criminal charges in Rock County court after a 12-year-old boy reported he saw the man smoking marijuana near the playground of Parkview Elementary School, 121 Janesville St., Footville.
Noah C. Keller, 18, of 319 S. Gilbert St., Footville, is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, two counts of felony bail jumping, possession of narcotics, fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft and disorderly conduct, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday in court.
Keller is free from jail on a $4,500 signature bond and is scheduled to appear again in court Nov. 14 on an adjourned initial appearance.
A 12-year-old boy on Tuesday told police he saw Keller and three juvenile boys smoking marijuana on school property. Keller offered marijuana to the boy, and the boy refused, according to the complaint.
The child said Keller threatened to kill him if he told anyone he saw the teens smoking marijuana.
A Rock County Sheriff’s Office deputy searched Keller’s home. The deputy found a number of empty pill containers in the trash in Keller’s bedroom. Keller admitted to taking Adderall pills from a prescription belonging to another member of his family, according to the complaint.
Keller said he sold the Adderall or traded it for marijuana from individuals he knew from Orfordville High School, according to the complaint.
The deputy also found marijuana at Keller’s home. Keller said he found it in the Footville dump.
