- A 14-YEAR-OLD SOUTH BELOIT, ILL., BOY, at 10 a.m. Oct. 17 at the Janesville Police Department was referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of first-degree sexual assault of a child. He is accused of assaulting a child to whom he is related.

- BURGLARY reported at 6:19 p.m. Thursday to a home in the 600 block of West Racine Street, Janesville. A Nintendo gaming system was reported stolen from a front porch.
- BURGLARY reported at 2:46 a.m. Wednesday to a home in the 2000 block of Adel Street, Janesville. Property owners reported a door was pried open, but nothing was reported stolen.
- BURGLARY reported at midnight Tuesday to 3B’s Bar & Grill, 3333 County E, Janesville. Property owners said a door was pried open and a lock cut, but nothing was reported stolen.
Charged
- BRENT A. PUGH, 39, of 327 S. Academy St., Janesville, with battery, disorderly conduct and strangulation. He is accused of choking a woman and slamming her head into the ground Tuesday in Janesville.
- CHRISTIAN J. WORBY, 22, of 801 W. Burbank Ave., Janesville, with strangulation, false imprisonment, disorderly conduct and two counts of felony bail jumping. He is accused of trying to choke a woman, chasing her and forcing her into a vehicle on Oct. 16 in Janesville.
- TREVOR J. QUAM, 517 Blanche Drive, No. 4, Milton, with strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct. He is accused of choking a woman and repeatedly pushing a woman to keep her from leaving the bedroom of their home.
