Intoxicated driving arrests
-- CHARLES L. SANDERS, 30, of 113 Eames Street, Elkhorn, at 1:12 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Serl Road and Highway 14 in the town of Bradford.
-- ALISSA D. HALVERSON, 21, of 2218 W. Wall St., Janesville, at 12:54 a.m. Saturday at 2610 W. Court St., Janesville.
-- ALEXANDER CRUZ SCHENCK, 20, of 1514 Arbutus St., Janesville, at 4:48 a.m. Friday at the intersection of South Main and Tyler streets, Janesville. He also was charged with fleeing to avoid arrest and operating after suspension, reportedly his second offense.
Accidents
-- HIGHWAY 51 SOUTH OF TERRINGTON DRIVE in the town of Rock at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. Judith E. Bostian, 73, of 3117 N. Burdick Road, Janesville, was driving north on Highway 51 when her Lincoln Zephyr rear-ended a GM Savannah driven by Sarah N. Anderson, 31, of 207 Maple Ave., Clinton. Bostian was transported to a local hospital with injuries, but her condition was not available. She was ticketed for following too closely.
Charged
-- RYAN M. PEACOCK, 29, of 44 N. Madison St., No. 2, Evansville, with strangulation, misdemeanor battery, disorderly conduct and obstructing. The charges follow a domestic incident on Aug. 27 at Peacock’s home.
-- BENJAMIN J. PEARY, 17, Roscoe, Ill., with burglary and theft. Also charged were DUSTIN D. BERGERON, 18, Roscoe, Ill., and JOSEPH R. BUTCHART, 18, Roscoe, Ill., with party to burglary and party to theft. The three are accused of taking jewelry boxes containing jewelry valued at $40,000 on June 8 from a home in the 700 block of Shu-Lar Lane in Clinton.

-- BURGLARY reported at 6 p.m. Aug. 18 to an unlocked garage in the 2500 block of Bond Place, Janesville. Reported stolen was a 20-inch boy’s bicycle valued at $30.
