Big Foot continues to roll in Rock Valley South

Mason Dixon carried Walworth Big Foot to its fourth straight victory to open the season Friday night.

Dixon gained 225 yards on 15 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead the Chiefs past host

Orfordville Parkview, 42-6.

Big Foot is 3-0 in the Rock Valley South, while Parkview fell to 1-2 and 1-3 overall.

Dixon scored on runs of 7, 20, 85 and 23 yards to help the Chiefs build a 28-0 halftime lead. Quarterback Carter Hehr added an 8-yard touchdown run, while Quinn Dixon concluded the scoring with a 13-yard TD run as the Chiefs ran for 289 yards.

Elliott Olsen had 44 yards rushing to lead the Vikings, and Brandon Neal scored on a 15-yard run.

n Brodhead/Juda 54, Turner 6—Hunter Colden rushed for three touchdowns, and Reeve Lincoln and Derek Turner each added two as Brodhead/Juda (1-2, 1-3) notched its first victory of the season with its win over visiting Turner (0-3, 0-4).

The Cardinals rushed for 381 yards, led by Lincoln’s 86 on 10 carries. Lincoln scored on runs of 3 and 11 yards.

Colden ran for scores covering 4, 12 and 2 yards and finished with 76 yards on eight carries. Turner had scoring runs of 1 and 4 yards and finished with 46 yards on eight carries.

Nick Bingham hit Anthony Payton with an 82-yard scoring pass for Turner’s only score.

n Clinton 33, Palmyra-Eagle 0—The Cougars picked up their first win of the season behind quarterback Jake Marchillo.

Marchillo rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns and threw for two more as Clinton (1-3, 1-2 in the Rock Valley South) dominated.

Palmyra-Eagle (1-3, 1-2 in the Rock Valley South) finished with only 182 yards of

total offense.

n East Troy 42, Jefferson 35—In a game full of offense, the Trojans scored 22 straight points to take a 42-28 third-quarter lead before defenses prevailed in the final quarter .

East Troy took over sole possession of first place in the Rock Valley North.

Joey Dedick rushed 20 times for 201 yards and three touchdowns for East Troy.

Brandon Matz threw for one touchdown and rushed eight times for 64 yards.

Zeke Emerick scored three touchdowns to run his season total to 15, and gained 257 yards rushing on 25 carries.

East Troy led, 20-15, after one quarter, and the game was tied, 28-28, at halftime.

n Whitewater 21, Edgerton 17—Whitewater hung on for its victory over visiting Edgerton.

Zach Miles scored on runs of 5, 2 and 4 yards for the Whippets, who took a 21-3 lead in the third quarter.

Edgerton rallied behind a pair of Brooks Johnson touchdown passes. Johnson hit Ricky Williams with an 11-yard TD pass in the third quarter, and then found Adam Converse for a 25-yard score with 9:09 left in the game.

The Crimson Tide outgained the Whippets, 330-264, but were hurt by 12 penalties for 115 yards.
