Milton restaurant burglarized again, police report
MILTON A barbecue restaurant on Milton's west side keeps getting the shake-and-bake treatment by burglars, police said.
For the second time in a week, someone broke into Buckaroo's Barbecue, 231 Front St., through a window, stealing alcohol and cash.
The police department reported that during the overnight hours between early last week and Thursday night, a person entered through a window in the back of the building and took several bottles of liquor.
On Friday night, thieves struck the restaurant again. This time, they made off with about 15 bottles of liquor and an undisclosed amount of cash from the restaurant's till, police reported.
The first burglary happened during a span of days last week when the restaurant was closed for summer hours, police indicated. Friday night's burglary happened after 9:45 p.m., apparently after closing hours, police reported.
Both burglaries are under investigation.
