Big Foot rolls; East Troy upset

Walworth Big Foot looks as imposing this season as it has in recent seasons.

The Chiefs rolled to a 63-0 halftime lead and that was the final score as Big Foot earned its 40th straight Rock Valley Conference victory at Beloit Turner on Friday night.

Mason Dixon gained 131 yards on five carries and scored three touchdowns for the Chiefs, who remained undefeated at 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the Rock Valley North.

Quarterback Carter Hehr completed all five of his passing attempts for 83 yards, including scoring plays of 19 yards to Matt Ripkey and 20 yards to Daniel Pearce. Hehr also returned the opening kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown, and ran seven yards for another score.

Clayton Stenulson led Turner (0-4, 0-5) with 58 yards on 18 carries.

n Parkview 40, Palmyra-Eagle 13—Elliott Olsen rushed for 234 yards on just 12 carries to lead visiting Parkview to its victory.

Olsen scored on runs of 77 and 41 yards, and the Vikings rushed for 450 yards on 49 carries. Parkview (2-2, 2-3) built a 28-7 halftime lead.

Trevor Aasen threw a 29-yard scoring pass to Storm Ladue and ran eight yards for another Parkview score.

Palmyra-Eagle’s Tanner Gess scored on a nine-yard run and hit Matt Preuss with a 36-yard scoring pass. Brett Knoebel rushed 11 times for 150 yards for the Panthers (1-3,

1-4).

n Brodhead/Juda 41, Clinton 13—The Cardinals’ Reeve Lincoln rushed for three touchdowns as Brodhead/Juda went to 2-2 in the Rock Valley and 2-3 overall.

The Cardinals rushed for 353 yards on 64 carries and pulled away from a 7-7 tie at the end of one quarter with three straight touchdowns. Hunter Colden led the Cards with 172 yards.

Jacob Marchillo led Clinton (1-3) with 195 yards rushing on 14 carries, including scoring runs of 51 and 84 yards.

n McFarland 22, East Troy 6—Antwon Washington caught two touchdown passes from Clayton Neitzel as the Spartans (2-2) upset previously undefeated East Troy at McFarland.

Washington caught scoring passes of 43 and 57 yards, respectively, and led the team with 141 yards in receptions.

McFarland built a 19-0 halftime lead and held the productive Trojan offense to 192 total yards. Nick Perkl rushed 24 times for 97 yards for the Spartans.

Joey Dedick scored the Trojans’ only touchdown on a one-yard run. East Troy is 3-1 in the RVS and 4-1 overall, and fell into a three-way tie for first with Jefferson and Evansville/Albany.
