Douglas W. Axelson, 26, Brodhead, died Sunday in the town of Spring Valley. Services will be at noon Saturday at Everson Funeral Home, Brodhead. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Edward Gerke, 79, Mather, formerly of Edgerton, died Wednesday at Mayo Clinic Health System, La Crosse. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Busseyville Church, Busseyville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church. Ehlert Funeral Home, Edgerton, is assisting the family.
Robert McCartney, 85, Orfordville, died Wednesday at Rock Haven Nursing Home, Janesville. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Orfordville Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services Saturday at the church. Newcomer-Silverthorn Chapel on the Hill, Orfordville, is assisting the family.
Christine Ann Richardson, 47, Delavan Lake, died Wednesday at home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at the Delavan American Legion Hall, Delavan. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6 p.m. Betzer Funeral Home, Delavan, is assisting the family.

Virginia Shanks, 92, Janesville, died Wednesday at Evansville Manor, Evansville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Janesville.
