-- AUSTIN J. NELSON, 25, of 123 N. Main St., Orfordville, at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department on charges of strangulation/suffocation and false imprisonment.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- TEQUAD D. TILLMAN, 24, of 1677 Fayette Ave., Beloit, at 3:28 a.m. Sept. 22 at Highway 26 and Kettering Street in Janesville. The arrest was listed as Tillman's second on an intoxicated driving charge.
-- THOMAS J. ZACCARD, 58, of 605 Oakland Ave., Janesville, at 5:43 p.m. Wednesday at Racine and Fremont streets in Janesville. Zaccard was exiting the parking lot of Grain and Grape Shop, 1514 E. Racine St. He turned west onto Racine Street when his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Gloria J. Brandes-Kuptz, 48, of 408 S. Main St., No. 300, Janesville. Brandes-Kuptz was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Zaccard was treated at an area hospital, but his condition was not available. Zaccard was arrested on charges of causing injury while operating while intoxicated and ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.
-- BEN E. HAWKINS JR., 24, of 1820 Rockport Road, Janesville, at 1:34 p.m. Thursday at Wright Road and Colby Lane in Janesville. An officer saw Hawkins' car swerving on Wright Road.
Accidents
-- HIGHWAY 11 NORTH OF JANESVILLE HANOVER ROAD, TOWN OF ROCK, at 1:55 p.m. Sept. 19. As a northbound semitrailer truck with a long, wide, heavy load, driven by George W. Jensen, 51, Carlsbad, N.M., crossed the railroad tracks, a large piece of concrete weighing an estimated 1,000 pounds came out of the ground into the northbound lane of traffic. An escort vehicle following, driven by Barbara L. Brown, 42, Oakley, Calif., went into the 1-foot hole and then struck the concrete piece, causing her to lose control into the east ditch, and the vehicle to roll once. Brown was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Brown also was cited for failure to wear a seat belt.
-- HIGHWAY 11 AND COUNTY G, in the town of Rock at 5:38 p.m. Sept. 22. Marti G. Brockman, 48, of 319 Dawson Ave., Beloit, was driving west on Highway 11. She turned left onto County G into the path of a vehicle driven east on Highway 11 by Kelly M. Gille, 34 of 2427 N. County E, Janesville. Gille was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Brockman was treated and released at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit. An infant passenger in Brockman's vehicle also was transported to a local hospital with injuries. Brockman was ticketed for failure to yield.
Charged
-- TIM P. BRADLEY, 52, of 312 Swift St., Edgerton, with disorderly conduct and false imprisonment, both with domestic abuse enhancers, as well as bail jumping. He is accused of shoving and threatening to kill a woman on Sept. 25 in Edgerton.
